Ole To A Closed Fabric Store

No big media announcement.

No petitions being signed to save our fabric store.

Just simply see a gate down in the middle of the day.

The call to their number yielded a generic voice, no real answer.

Did I not visit them enough? Every time I went, diverse patrons were in every aisle.

The fabric rolls leaning against each other awaiting the caress from some one, pick me.

Now no fabric leans against the steel gates. No Oasis to enter from the readymade world.

I protest.

Now to ‘stream’ my fabric. To hope the feel of the fabric choice is desirable. The waiting begins. Waiting for delivery and waiting to create.
